Job Title: Principal Technical Officer in charge Web Application services and Performance Tuning

Grade: T3 Supervisor: Director in Charge of Application Unit

Purpose

Principal technician officer in charge of web application performance works with the rest of it team to improve the the performance and security application servers. s/he install and configure web application servers and with collaboration with dbas and system developers to finetune queries

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Install and configure web application servers
2. Assure regular patching and updgrade of application servers
3. Monitor performance web application servers
4. Work closely with the developers and dba team during performance tuning
5. Analyze the root cause of performance issues and bottlenecks
6. Produce technical reports for references
