Senior Internal Auditor

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies or any related field

Three (3) years of experience in auditing, risk and compliance, or senior technical/managerial experience in banking or microfinance

• Any qualified candidate.

• Has never had any contractual relationship of any kind with Indongozi SACCO Nyamasheke.

Employment Status: Full-time.

Nature of the Job: Permanent (subject to successful probation).

Reporting to: Head of Internal Audit (or Managing Director/Supervisory Committee in the absence of the Head of Internal Audit).

Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years in internal audit, risk, compliance, banking or microfinance. 

Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk-based audits, evaluate internal controls, prepare audit reports, monitor implementation of audit recommendations, support governance and compliance activities.

Required Skills: Internal auditing, analytical skills, report writing, knowledge of banking regulations, communication, integrity, Microsoft Office.

Added Advantages: CIA, ACCA, CPA, CMP or other professional certifications; knowledge of Core Banking Systems and AML/CFT.
