Kivu Choice is the sister company to Victory Farms, the largest aquaculture platform in East Africa, based in Kenya. We launched our Rwandan business in Q4 of 2021 and have since built a vertically integrated aquaculture company with associated hatchery, cage production, distribution, and sales operations. Over the next 5 years our plan is to scale to become the largest and most sustainable protein producer in the country, producing and distributing over 50 million fish meals per year across Rwanda, DRC, and Burundi.

Description:

As a Finance Lead, your responsibilities revolve around ensuring proper inventory tracking and financial accountability at the Farm. Your role is essential in supporting efficient financial operations and ensuring transparency in expenditures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records.
Track feed and other material purchase orders, notifying the Finance team upon arrival at the Farm.
Monitor inventory movements to ensure proper accountability.
Conduct monthly stock counts for feed and consumables.
Maintain comprehensive records of all Farm activities, including sorting reports, delivery notes, and dispatch records.
Manage petty cash requests, ensuring all expenses are supported with proper documentation for accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Knowledge of financial software or tools (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting systems).
