Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) Overview

The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) has the mandate to promote good governance principles and monitor service delivery across public and private sector institutions as well as Civil Society Organizations. RGB is also responsible to conduct research on governance; to preserve and protect Home-Grown Solutions; to register and monitor civil society organisastions, faith-based organisastions and political organisastions; to promote media sector and advise the government on its functioning as well as coordinating the activities of the Joint Action Development Forum.

3 Job Positions at Rwanda Governance Board (RGB): (Deadline 20 December 2024)

– Prepare annual audit plan – Carry out financial review (Monthly and annually) – Carry out annual systems audits – Carry out compliance audits – Provide advisory services – Follow up audit recommendations – Prepare and consolidate quarterly internal audit reports (QIAR)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance/ Economics/ Management with at least foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM

0 Year of relevant experience

LG and JADF Capacity Building Monitoring

Job responsibilities

– Coordinate and monitor the actions to strengthen the JADF mechanism

– Conduct corporate governance assessment

– Hold JADF statutory meetings to enhance coordination and synergy among partners

– Collaborate with partners to organize engagement in governance and service delivery

– Coordinate Peer Learning and Peer Review exercises to improve service delivery and accountability in LGs and enforce feedback

– Conduct Annual Development Journalism Awards (DJA)

– Support media houses and associations

– Monitor the performance of Media Houses to identify challenges and recommend appropriate action to promote their effective performance
