The Department of Human Resources would like to inform its esteemed staff and the public of the opportunity of the Raw Materials warehouse shift leader position.

RAW MATERIALS WAREHOUSE SHIFT LEADER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Raw materials store shift leader to efficiently oversee the intake, storage, and distribution of materials while ensuring minimal loss.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Record received goods on Goods Received Notes (GRN) and update warehouse stock cards.
Assist in distributing goods to user departments based on approved requests.
Organize workers to handle goods carefully during distribution.
Monitor inventory levels daily to ensure optimum stock availability.
Record all distributed goods transactions on warehouse stock cards.
Assist in obtaining necessary information for quality checks (sampling, batch details, etc.).
Coordinate manutentionnaires (handlers) and casual workers to ensure careful offloading and minimize loss.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed in stock handling.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness by coordinating regular cleaning schedules.
Maintain and update data in the company’s ERP system as required.
Generate accurate reports on stock movements, losses, and received goods.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
Experience leading teams and managing shift-based operations.
Knowledge of workplace safety, FIFO principles, and compliance with hygiene standards.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency with inventory software, and experience with Microsoft office suite.
High integrity, reliability and strong work ethics.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
