KT Rwanda Networks Ltd Overview

Incorporated in September 2013, KTRN is the 4G LTE Infrastructure Company in Rwanda jointly established by Government of Rwanda(GoR) and Korea Telecom (KT) in a Public Private Partnership, with the main mission to achieve GoR’s connectivity and coverage goals for broadband network and service.

Position: Electrical Engineer (1):

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide advanced technical support
Analyze and supervise Energy systems installations, maintenance, optimization and upgrade
Analyze and Design of electrical installations
Ensure SLA with customers are met
Evaluate performance of electrical equipment
Perform site survey and take electrical equipment measurements for effective maintenance and system upgrade
Documentation for electrical installation setup/ installations
Perform daily monitoring of core network power and cooling systems
Technical analysis and reports of the day to day operations
Statistical maintenance reports of the electrical equipment

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies required:

Bachelor’s degree in energy, electrical engineering, Telecoms Engineering or other relevant equivalent
qualification
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in energy operations specifically in telecom industry;
A diploma in electrical and electronics engineering with hands on in electrical engineering and telecom industry
Experience with Generators, Air Conditioning, UPS, Rectifiers Systems Installation, maintenance and repairs.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in energy applications in telecommunications would be an added advantage
