Water Access Rwanda Overview

Water Access Rwanda is on a mission to solve the water crisis by providing simple, durable, and affordable water solutions and creating employment for youth in the water sector

We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Chief Operating Officer (COO) Assistant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to provide high-level administrative support to the COO and assist in the strategic planning and implementation of company-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Coordination: Act as a liaison between the COO and other teams/departments especially with field employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and submissions.
Administrative Support: Manage the COO’s schedule, organize meetings, and assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and employees at all levels of the company.
Strategic Planning and Implementation: Show accountability in contributing to strategic planning efforts in collaboration with the COO. This includes taking initiative in analyzing operational data to inform strategic decisions, actively participating in strategic planning meetings, and driving the implementation of strategic initiatives in the region.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong motivation to lead and inspire a team.
High level of accountability and dependability.

Officer-level positions in Water Access Rwanda get:

A net take-home salary of RWF 301,791 after deduction of PAYE, NSSF, Medical (RAMA), and other statutory deductions.
An Additional RWF 100,000/month Retention bonus is accessible monthly after the end of probation but awarded with a cliff of 3 years.
Possibility of bonuses, communication cards, and other staff support services.

Jr. Officer-level positions in Water Access Rwanda get:

A net take-home salary of RWF160,702 after deduction of PAYE, NSSF, Medical (RAMA), and other statutory deductions.
An Additional RWF 40,000/month Retention bonus accessible monthly after the end of probation but awarded with a cliff of 3 years.
Possibility of bonuses, communication cards, and other staff support services.
