We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance and Administration Officer to join our team and play a critical role in building the foundation of our financial and administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient use of financial resources.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee payroll processing.
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including taxes and other regulatory requirements.
Support external audits and liaise with financial institutions.
Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records, including employee files, vendor contracts, and other company documentation.
Coordinate procurement and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Manage office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facility needs.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and business growth.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
At least 3 years of experience in finance and administration roles, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and Rwandan tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced start-up environment.
