POSITION: Project Coordinator (Part-time Job)

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

He/She Must have a minimum of Master’s degree in public health, project management, or a related field.
Certificate in research ethics or related training is additional value
He/She Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ of experience in project coordination, preferably in health research.
Registration with a relevant professional body

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., REDCap, Excel, ODK, etc ).
Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
Familiarity with ethical research practices and protocols is an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the implementation of the research project and ensure timely progress.
Coordinate activities across study sites and manage the project timeline.
Supervise data collectors and ensure adherence to research protocols.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including hospitals and the research team.
Manage logistics for data collection, including tool distribution and participant follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and obtain necessary approvals.
Monitor data quality and integrity, addressing any issues promptly.
Prepare progress reports and updates for the principal investigator and collaborators.
