JOB ADVERTISEMENT – SALES & MARKETING OFFICER

Mantis Kivu Marina Bay Hotel, a premier lakeside hospitality destination located in Rusizi District, Western Province, Rwanda, invites qualified and dynamic candidates to apply for the position of Sales & Marketing Officer.

Position: Sales & Marketing Officer

Duty Station: Rusizi, Rwanda
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in corporate, government, NGO, travel trade, and leisure market segments.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and promotional activities.
• Prepare sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, social media activities, and promotional events.
• Represent the hotel at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Assist in the preparation of annual sales budgets and business plans.
• Ensure effective follow-up on leads, inquiries, and client feedback.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and digital marketing platforms is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Valid driving license is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English, French, and Swahili (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
