To respond to the Expression of Interest (EoI): POULTRY FARMING EQUIPMENT, Applicants are required to fill out this Technical Response Document as a Word document submitted in PDF with accurate and up to date information. Where a question is not relevant to the Applicant's organization or cannot be answered in full, this should be indicated, with an explanation.

Provide details of the experience and qualifications of the key personnel proposed for the delivery of the proposed equipment and/or technologies requested.

5. Product offering

Please provide comprehensive details of the following Poultry farming equipment

You are proposing to supply for project.

EGG INCUBATOR / hatchery with capacity 3000 or 4000eggs.
Feed mixer machine with capacity of 2 tones per hour.
Chicken Pellet machine with capacity of 1MT per hour

Include a summary using the Poultry equipment Catalogue and attach any supporting documents, such as product test certificates, as annexes to your proposal (if available).

Practical Action

Please include both appliances you are currently providing, and appliances that you plan to start providing as part of the project. Please use the box below to provide evidence that the proposed poultry machines have been successfully adopted and used by other similar customer segments and share any additional relevant details about the poultry machines if needed.

6. Quality and standards

Please provide details of recognized certifications or appropriate test reports for the proposed equipment.

7. Delivery model

Please describe your approach in terms of supply, after-sale-services, and beneficiary trainings.

8. Costing requested.

Please provide the costs for the proposed equipment, training, and aftersales services inclusive of taxes. Each part should be costed separately.

9. Submission Guidelines.

Companies interested in submitting their EoI are encouraged to send an email to RE4Rtender@practicalaction.or.ke by 3rd January 2025 indicating the name of their company (or companies if joint application between a supplier and a distributor). This is not a strict requirement for applicants, but it is strongly encouraged.

10. Warranty and support

Please provide warranty details of your products along with details of the support services you will offer to the poultry equipment users to ensure proper and efficient use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the appliances. This support services shall include, but are not limited to, after-sales service, maintenance and repair services and end-of-life management. Please include response times, and any support available from product manufacturers or suppliers.
