Law Enforcement and Border Security – Enforcing immigration laws and regulations, detecting violations, preventing illegal entry and fraudulent documentation, and maintaining border security.

Document Verification and Entry Assessment – Examining travel documents, verifying information, and determining eligibility for entry, stay, or departure.

To do any other task related to the job as may be required by the supervisors.

- Academic qualifications: Advanced diploma, bachelors' degree or Masters' degree in relevant fields
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Demography, International Relations, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Political Science, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Communication, Journalism, Information Technology, Security Studies, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Management, Languages and Linguistics, Law or related fields
- Basic understanding of immigration procedures, document checks, and elementary investigative methods
- Computer & good communication skills, strong integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Language proficiency in more than one of the official languages is an added advantage
- Ability to learn new skills and work in a team
- Analytical competence to assess different disintegrated information to come up with a single and actionable conclusion.
- Proficiency in statistical software (MS Excel, SQL, SPSS, R, STATA, or Python)
- Experience in international cooperation, public sector or in a research institution is an added advantage
